الفلبين دولة أرخبيلية في جنوب شرق آسيا، تقع غرب المحيط الهادئ وتتكوّن من نحو 7,641 جزيرة تنقسم إلى ثلاث مجموعات رئيسية: لوزون وبيسايا ومينداناو. عاصمتها مانيلا، وأكبر مدنها سكاناً كيزون سيتي، وكلتاهما ضمن منطقة مترو مانيلا. اللغتان الرسميتان هما الفلبينية والإنجليزية، والعملة هي البيسو الفلبيني. مناخها استوائي بحري حار ورطب في الغالب، وله ثلاثة فصول: موسم حار وجاف من مارس إلى مايو، وموسم أمطار من يونيو إلى نوفمبر، وموسم بارد وجاف من ديسمبر إلى فبراير. أعلى جبالها جبل أبو في جزيرة مينداناو، وتقع البلاد على الطرف الغربي لحزام النار في المحيط الهادئ.
The Philippines is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia, in the western Pacific Ocean, made up of about 7,641 islands grouped into three main divisions: Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao. Its capital is Manila and its most populous city is Quezon City, both within Metro Manila. The official languages are Filipino and English, and the currency is the Philippine peso. The climate is tropical maritime, usually hot and humid, with three seasons: hot and dry from March to May, rainy from June to November, and cool and dry from December to February. The highest mountain is Mount Apo on Mindanao, and the country lies on the western fringe of the Pacific Ring of Fire.

مانيلا عاصمة الفلبين، تقع على الشاطئ الشرقي لخليج مانيلا في جزيرة لوزون، وهي من أكثر مدن العالم كثافة بالسكان. يقسمها نهر باسيغ إلى شطرين شمالي وجنوبي، وتضم حي إنتراموروس التاريخي المسوّر الذي بدأ الإسبان بناءه سنة 1571. ويُستخدم اسم مانيلا كثيراً للدلالة على منطقة مترو مانيلا كلها، وهي منطقة العاصمة الوطنية.
Manila, the capital of the Philippines, lies on the eastern shore of Manila Bay on the island of Luzon and is one of the most densely populated cities in the world. The Pasig River divides it into northern and southern halves, and it contains the walled district of Intramuros, begun by the Spanish in 1571. The name Manila is also widely used for the whole of Metro Manila, the national capital region.

باغيو
باغيو مدينة جبلية في منطقة كورديليرا الإدارية شمال لوزون، على ارتفاع نحو 1,500 متر فوق سطح البحر. تُلقَّب «العاصمة الصيفية للفلبين» لاعتدال مناخها مقارنة بالأراضي المنخفضة، و«مدينة الصنوبر» لغاباتها. وهي مركز الأعمال والتجارة والتعليم في شمال لوزون.
Baguio is a mountain city in the Cordillera Administrative Region of northern Luzon, about 1,500 metres above sea level. It is known as the "Summer Capital of the Philippines" for its cool climate compared with the lowlands, and as the "City of Pines". It is the centre of business, commerce and education in northern Luzon.
داغوبان
داغوبان مدينة في إقليم إيلوكوس على خليج لينغايين في شمال وسط لوزون، وهي المركز التجاري والمالي الرئيسي لمقاطعة بانغاسينان، وأحد مراكز الخدمات الطبية والتعليم والإعلام في شمال وسط لوزون. وتشتهر بإنتاج سمك الحليب المعروف محلياً باسم «بانغوس».
Dagupan is a city in the Ilocos Region on the Lingayen Gulf, in north-central Luzon. It is the main commercial and financial centre of Pangasinan and one of the centres of medical services, education and media in north-central Luzon. It is known for its milkfish, locally called bangus.

أنجلس أكبر مدن مقاطعة بامبانغا في إقليم وسط لوزون، وهي مدينة عالية التحضر ومستقلة إدارياً عن المقاطعة. تُعد النواة الحضرية لمنطقة مترو كلارك، التي تعدّها الحكومة الوطنية مركزاً إقليمياً.
Angeles is the largest city of Pampanga in the Central Luzon region, a highly urbanized city that is politically independent of the province. It is the urban core of Metro Clark, which the national government identifies as a regional centre.
إيلويلو
إيلويلو مدينة على الساحل الجنوبي الشرقي لجزيرة باناي، وهي أكثر مدن إقليم غرب بيسايا سكاناً ومركزه الإقليمي للتجارة والصناعة والتعليم والرعاية الصحية والسياحة. استقر فيها الإسبان سنة 1566، فكانت ثاني مركز استعماري إسباني في الفلبين بعد سيبو.
Iloilo City lies on the south-eastern coast of the island of Panay. It is the most populous city of Western Visayas and the region's centre for trade, industry, education, healthcare and tourism. The Spanish settled there in 1566, making it their second colonial centre in the Philippines after Cebu.
